Ku-ring-gai Wildflower Garden, 420 Mona Vale Road, St. Ives NSW 2075, Australia
About this event
Do you grow too many lemons, have too many seeds, or is your freezer not big enough for your end of season pesto?
Come and meet your neighbours, swap excess produce and fairly barter with like-minded people for fresh, local and delicious goods.
What to expect
The event will be hosted by local sustainability champion and founder of Crop Swap Sydney, Laurie Green. Crop Swap Australia facilitates the swapping of homegrown produce, seeds and edible plants through local, cashless markets. These groups build community, reduce food waste and help people eat better, at a lesser cost. Come along to and event to get more of what you want, and less of what you don’t, without wasting the fruits of your labour – literally.
Bring your fabric donations
Local group Boomerang Bags will also be there accepting fabric donations to make their fabulous reusable bags for shopping centres around Ku-ring-gai.
