Hey Sydney young people! Come for some adventure and a bit of a challenge at our Wildflower Group Hike on the Lyrebird Trail!

Explore the stunning Lyrebird Trail at Garigal NP, spot vibrant wildflowers, and enjoy some of Sydney’s best bushland views

This event is aimed at young adults aged 18 to 30 something.

Location: Davidson Park Reserve

Get ready to explore the beautiful Lyrebird Trail with fellow young nature enthusiasts. This guided hike will take you through stunning wildflower-filled landscapes, where you can spot colorful blooms and maybe even some local wildlife.

This hike is the perfect balance of fun and challenge—just enough to get your heart pumping but still totally enjoyable! 📸 Bring your camera to capture amazing natural shots, and if you’re up for it, there’s even a spot to cool off with a swim! 🏞

To top it all off, we’ll wrap up with a free picnic—the perfect chance to relax, celebrate, and keep ypur converstaions flowing with other young enviro-minded people.

Whether you’re a seasoned hiker or just looking for a fun outdoor adventure, this event is perfect for all skill levels. So lace up your hiking boots and come join us for a memorable day out in nature!

• Swimmers (If you’re feeling up for a swim!)
• Nature ID Books (if you’re into doing some plant/wildlife ID)

About the Hike:

Casuarina & Lyrebird Loop

• 8.0km Loop
• 234m Elevation Gain
• Easy to Moderate Difficulty (suitable for all fitness levels)
• Start & Finish at Davidson Park Reserve

(Keep in mind the Alltrails start and finish point differs to where we will be starting, please meet at our specific point, Davidson Park Reserve.)

How to get there?

• Davidson Park Reserve is located near Warringah Rd in Killarney Heights, there is car parks available at the reserve.
• Bus 280 stops nearby on Warringah Rd coming from Chatswood and is a short walk from there.
• If you’d like to attend but have no vehicle or can’t see a way of getting to the meeting point, we may be able to organise carpooling from Chatswood Station. Please contact Sophie to discuss (contact info at bottom of page) and join our Whatsapp group below to stay in the loop.
