Teen Bush Survival Skills

Have you got teens stuck at home this school holidays with nothing to do?

Get them outside with our new Survival Skills holiday program for teenagers!

They can have a go at lighting a fire with flint and steel, experience some of the gardens’ natural bush tucker, learn how to bandage a snake bite and more. We’ll even meet one of our resident snakes! This is a great opportunity to get out in the bush, learn some new skills and make lots of new friends.

The Ku-ring-gai Wildflower Garden is one of Sydney’s best kept secrets, set across 123 hectares of unique urban bushland and home to two endangered ecological communities as well as 18 threatened species of flora and fauna.

The Wildflower Garden is open to the public all year round and has a range of hikes, step-free walking tracks, picnic areas and heritage venue hire as well as a diverse calendar of environmental education programs.
