About this event
Enjoy a gentle walk along Swaine’s Creek to listen out for and learn about birds.
Since 2014 the Aussie Bird Count has recorded millions of birds providing critical data about the challenges facing our bird populations. Each year a handful of bird species top the most seen list, the Rainbow Lorikeet taking the most crowns. Find out why some birds are thriving and some in decline. We’ll focus on a few key species and hope to view them on our walk.
Suitable for all walkers. Bring binoculars if you have them and a drink and snack if you wish.
Meet in the grassed area on Dalrymple Ave, Chatswood West.
Note: Due to limited capacity, registrations are prioritised for Willoughby Council residents. If you aren’t a resident, you can email [email protected] to be added on the waitlist, and notified if last minute spots become available.
