About this event

In a world dealing with a changing climate and a degrading ocean, 23-year-old young Australian changemaker and Take 3 For the Sea ambassador Kal Glanznig goes on a journey across the world to uncover the untold stories of hope and solutions to the climate and ocean plastic crisis.

With a strong optimistic outlook, viewers will feel inspired at the potential for change through every day people taking action.

After the film, we will be joined by the filmmaker, Kal Glanzig, and Australian Geographic Young Conservationist of the Year 2018, Sophia Skarparis, to hear about the positive impacts that young people can achieve.

You don’t need a ticket for this event and your registration is not a seating allocation but by registering your interest you will receive follow-up resources from Lane Cove Council to help you on your sustainability journey!

On the night, bring a picnic rug and grab some dinner from a nearby eatery and join us for an inspiring evening.
