Greater Sydney Landcare Day and 10th Birthday

You’re invited to the Greater Sydney Landcare Day and 10th Birthday celebration!

Join us at the Campbelltown Arts Centre from 9:30 am on Friday 22nd November as we focus on environmental restoration work happening in and around Southwest Sydney.

We will hear from guest speakers Peter Ridgeway (on how to care for the trees of South-West Sydney) and Matt Stanton (on the ecology of South-West Sydney’s Koalas). We will also be presented with updates from all Greater Sydney Landcare Project Managers on the great work that has been going on around our region.

Tea and coffee will be provided, as well as morning tea and lunch.

A field trip is planned after lunch to a local restoration site to see first-hand the wonderful work that has been done in restoring habitat. Attendees are encouraged to use their own vehicles to visit the site (or make carpool arrangements on the day), as the event will conclude after this activity at approximately 3:30 pm.

Come together with our staff and other Landcarers to learn, share ideas, and celebrate a decade of environmental stewardship in our beautiful Greater Sydney region!
