Seedlings Nature School Taster – Royal Botanic Garden Sydney

Join experienced Early Years Nature Educators from the Garden who will facilitate play-based activities and nature experiences with you and your little one.

This is a limited-time taster session to experience the joy of nature play in the Botanic Gardens in “mini”.

Taster details…

– Arrive at your ticket start time for check-in and 30min of free play in our garden “mud” kitchen – bring clothes that can get messy!

– Then spend 60min with a garden educator and other families exploring our favourite nature play activities and going on a nature-walk through Garden

About Seedlings…

Seedlings Nature School allows young children to explore, grow and develop with and in nature. Children will build, discover, play and engage their senses in the natural world. Join us for a free taster session that will demonstrate a handful of the activities we offer for our Seedlings term program. Each week’s program will be a captivating combination of nature-based activities, games and stories, combined with supervised free-play time in the garden.

Participation in nature play has the ability to enhance children’s curiosity and creativity, boost self-esteem and improve resilience, allowing them to learn, make decisions and develop understanding in a natural, safe environment.

Time in nature is a fun, informative and wonderful investment in your child’s future.

We go ahead in wet weather, so pack your gumboots! In the event of extreme or unsafe weather, the session may be cancelled and you will be contacted. All children must be accompanied by an adult carer. This is an event for children between 2.5 to 5 years.

Taster Session attendees will be issued with a dicsount code equivelant to a full refund if they purchase a Term 1 8-week pass.
