About this event

A practical course for environmental volunteers who have recently joined a group or those looking to brush up on their knowledge. All welcome!

You will learn:

  • Bush regeneration principles
  • Site impacts and the importance of habitat
  • Basic plant identification (weeds and natives)
  • Overview of weed treatment and disposal techniques
  • How to stay safe in the bush

What to bring

Notepad & pen, keep cup (morning tea will be provided). Please wear closed shoes and sun protection.

Where to meet

The workshops on 16 February and August 30 will be held at Dampier’s Clearing.

The workshop on May 9 will be held at Bidwill’s Clearing.
