Kimbriki Eco House and Garden Tour

Visit Kimbriki in Ingleside for the unique opportunity to see behind the scenes of where your waste goes. All of Hornsby Shire Council’s green-lidded garden organics are processed on site.

See how your garden waste is processed into compost, and check out how other waste streams are recycled, including bulky waste, tyres, metal, and timber.

The tour includes a waste workshop at the Eco House and Garden, where you’ll learn about ecology, our bin system, sustainable living, composting and worm farming. You’ll also enjoy a cup of the famous Kimbriki tea from the organic garden.

Light refreshments will be available, feel free to bring along a waste-wise lunch.
