About this event

Join us for a drop session co-hosted by Parents for Climate and The Black Dog Institute, aimed at finding playful ways to explore big feelings about climate change & mental health with 6-15 yr olds.

Hosted by:

Dr Chloe Watfern (Black Dog Institute and Parents for Climate lead, Townsville and Surrounds)

Dr Priya Vaughan (Research Fellow at the Central Clinical School at the University of Sydney)

Dr Diane Macdonald ((Black Dog Institute)

Rob Chan (Parents for Climate North Sydney lead)

Research shows that concern for the next generation is 12 times more powerful a motivator than any other driver of climate action.

The transition will bring opportunities and challenges for young people. It can be hard to find ways into this set of conversations that feel age-appropriate and healthy in all senses.

Drop in for ideas on supportive conversations and creative activities, facilitated by subject experts.
