About this event

Walk in the Wolli Creek Regional Park from Bexley North to Turrella Reserve – 3.5km

This walk is sponsored by the Canterbury-Bankstown Councils We Love Our Rivers program

This 3.5km guided tour of the upper section of the Wolli Creek Regional Park is a great way to experience one of the inner wests natural gems! This medium grade walk will take you through a section of the two valley trail to learn about the natural wonders of the Wolli Creek.

The walk will showcase some of the best-preserved bushland in the local area, highlighting sandstone cliffs, tall gum trees, river views and birdlife. The Wolli Creek is also home to one of Sydney’s grey headed flying fox colonies, and this walk provides an amazing opportunity to see them in their natural habitat.

With guides from the Wolli Creek Preservation Society, this is a great way to learn how the valley has been preserved by the actions of community volunteers.

This is a medium grade walk with some sections of the trail covering uneven ground.

Bookings are required. This walk is not suitable for children under 12 years of age and all young people up to 17 years must be accompanied by an adult.

Please email us at [email protected] if you have any questions. Details about where to meet, and further walk information will be provided following registration.
