About this event

Take a garden tour with one of our volunteers followed by a delicious morning tea on the verandah while soaking in the serenity of this beautiful, historic garden.

Located in the leafy suburb of Gordon, Eryldene is the former home of Professor EG Waterhouse and his family. The house was built and its garden created early last century and there you will find one of Australia’s most important collections of camellias. Professor Waterhouse was internationally recognised for his huge contribution to the “camellia world” and lived in the house until his death in 1977. The Eryldene Trust now opens the garden for events and tours.

Tickets include a tour with one of the garden volunteers followed by morning tea.

Tour commences at 10.15am so please arrive on time.

Learn about how we’re adapting our garden to cope with the changing climate.

Note: Group bookings (more thank 6 people) – please download booking form from our website https://www.eryldene.org.au/

Children under 12 are free.
