About this event
Join us for a fun, hands-on workshop where children will dive into the fascinating world of insects, why they are crucial to the biodiversity of our Forest, and how they camouflage.
This workshop is packed with fun facts and practical skills, all while sparking a sense of responsibility towards the environment. Children will leave with a deeper understanding of sustainability and how important it is to care for our local natural world. It’s the perfect mix of learning, creating, and connecting with nature!
For ages 5-12
Join us at our beautiful Discovery Centre at Highforest by Mirvac. There is plenty of free parking available and the Cumberland State Forest is located right next door for a picnic or wander afterwards, so make a morning of it!
Pay it Forward
Our school holiday program is FREE to attend, but if you’re able, we welcome donations from the Kids with Cancer Foundation hospital-approved list. These items will be delivered to the Kids with Cancer Foundation and included in Care Packs 4 Kids, bringing moments of joy to children undergoing cancer treatment in hospital.
