About this event
This workshop gets down to the dirt! Kids will learn how composting and worm farms turn kitchen waste into nutrient-rich soil.
Through observation and hands-on activities, they’ll meet wriggly worms, learn what they eat, and build their own mini compost system.
Join us at our beautiful Discovery Centre at Highforest by Mirvac. There is plenty of free parking available and the Cumberland State Forest is located right next door for a picnic or wander afterwards, so make a morning of it!
Pay it Forward
Our school holiday program is FREE to attend, but if you’re able, we welcome donations from the Kids with Cancer Foundation hospital-approved list. These items will be delivered to the Kids with Cancer Foundation and included in Care Packs 4 Kids, bringing moments of joy to children undergoing cancer treatment in hospital.
