About this event

Learn how to identify the native trees in our local area with this beginner-friendly tree workshop.

Get to know the native trees that shape our local landscape in this practical tree workshop! You’ll learn how to identify native trees by examining key features—like the bark, seeds and habit — up close.

Then, take your new skills into the wild with a short guided bushwalk through a nearby nature reserve, where you’ll practice identifying species in their natural habitat.

After this session, your future bushwalks will never be the same—you’ll be spotting familiar trees with fresh eyes.

This workshop is part of the ‘Canopy of Life Tree Week’ and reservations are prioritised for Willoughby City Council residents. If you are not a resident, email [email protected] to be added to the waitlist.
