About this event

Join us to explore how human modifications along the foreshore impact on natural processes and biodiversity.

Participants will use field guides to identify species on the seawall, and examine how Living Seawalls have ecological value and improve biodiversity.

Learn about the work of local bush care volunteers, and how natural vegetation along the foreshore impacts on water quality; and strategies that can be implemented to protect water quality in our waterways.

Note: To access the Living Seawalls participants will need to climb down a ladder to the sand, and walk in water at about ankle-depth or a little higher. You should expect that your shoes will get wet and dirty.
