About this event

Have a blast making seed bombs with Georges River Libraries! Get your hands dirty crafting seed bombs with our library staff these school holidays. Throw your finished spheres into a patch of earth then wait and watch flowers crop up where they land!

This program will promote ecofriendly practices and encourage children to engage with nature. Items from the Georges River Libraries Junior Non-Fiction collection will be available for browsing and borrowing, and participants will receive exclusive resources to continue your eco-warrior journeys at home!

Cost: Free

Age: 5-12 year olds

Experience: no experience needed

Equipment: all materials will be provided

Bookings:

This program is being repeated at multiple locations over the duration of the school holidays. Due to the popularity of our programs, please book for one location only. Customers who book for multiple locations will be advised that their spot will be allocated to customers on the waitlist.

Terms and Conditions:

For participants aged 10 years and under, parents and/or guardians of children must remain in the library for the duration of the program. For safety reasons, one parent/guardian can only be responsible for a maximum of 4 children (1:4 ratio).
For participants under the age of 16, parent and/or guardian contact details must be provided at the time of booking.
If you arrive more than 10 minutes after the advertised start time and there are people in the standby queue, your ticket may be allocated to the standby queue.
If you are unable to attend, please cancel your registration at least 3 hours prior to the event. As Library Programs have limited spaces, repeated failure to notify staff of cancellations may result in bookings being refused in the future.
The library does not endorse or promote any products which may be used in the workshop.
