About this event

Dive into the wild world of koalas and discover our latest breakthroughs plus exciting future plans for koalas and other threatened species
Join us for Koalas and Beyond: From Breakthroughs to Bold Next Steps!

Get ready for an exciting in-person event where we’ll dive into our latest conservation research discoveries. We’ll reveal the unique story of koalas on Sydney’s back doorstep, in and around the Greater Blue Mountains World Heritage Area and why this region is so important under climate change. We’ll also share some of our big plans for 2026 onwards, revisiting some of our bushfire emergency work to look at the longer term impacts of the 2019/20 megafires on a range of different native species . It’s a relaxed, informative gathering that’s perfect for anyone curious about our fascinating native wildlife and the path ahead. Don’t miss out on this chance to connect, learn, and be inspired!

Light bites and refreshments will be served. Please reserve your place (tickets are free), numbers are limited.
