About this event
Volunteers assist in restoring local bushland by removing weeds and planting native species to protect biodiversity, with tools, training, and, in some cases, morning tea provided by Woollahra Council.
No experience is necessary
Key Details for Gap Park Bushcare:
Location: Gap Park, Watsons Bay (meet in carpark adjacent to Our Lady Star of the Sea, Old South Head Rd).
Time: Wednesdays, 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM.
Activities: Removing weeds, planting native species, and protecting local habitat.
Requirements: Wear sturdy covered shoes and a sun hat; bring water.
Support: Tools, on-site training, and supervision are provided.
