Volunteers have cleared an area of Privet and other weeds from this area of Cattai Creek Conservation Area Reserve , Kellyville within the ecological communities Sydney Sandstone Gully Forest and the Critically Endangered Sydney Turpentine Ironbark Forest.

There have also been sightings of the Powerful Owl in this area, which is listed as Vulnerable under State legislation.

Bushcare volunteers take on the vital role as protector of our fragile bushland environment, preserving natural flora and fauna and removing that which can be harmful to its future. For any bushcare volunteer it’s definitely a hands-on role.
