Inner West Council is committed to building a sustainable community built on a circular economy. Nothing is wasted in a circular economy. Items are reused, repaired, shared, repurposed or recycled, keeping materials in circulation for as long as possible.

We are bringing together organisations driving our local circular economy to connect, share and collaborate. With so many organisations doing great work, we can compound our impact if we work together to build and maintain a thriving local circular economy!

Hear real-world experiences from the Inner West Tool Library

The Inner West Tool Library (IWTL) is a volunteer-run, not-for-profit organisation that gives the community affordable access to a wide range of tools, equipment and other useful items through a shared borrowing model. By helping people borrow instead of buy, IWTL supports waste reduction, resource sharing and a circular economy while strengthening community connections.

IWTL are welcoming us to their space to provide a tour of their space under the Petersham Bowling Club. We’ll also hear about their journey, challenges and successes.
