Seed saving workshop

Learn basic techniques for collecting, cleaning, drying and storing seed. Get involved and save seed that is diverse, resilient and adapted to local conditions.

– How plants reproduce from seed
– Dry and wet seed processing techniques
– Methods for collecting, storing and labelling your seeds
– Hands on experience processing seeds from locally adapted edible plants

Please note: This is an outdoor program running at the farm rain or shine, please bring waterproof clothing and shoes in case of wet weather. For the safety of visitors and volunteers events may be postponed or cancelled in extreme weather conditions.
