About this event

Our oceans are under myriad threats but it’s not all bad news. Hear from a group of experts utilising the ocean’s natural powers as a solution, from algae-material swimwear to new coral growth technology.

In this thought-provoking event, join leaders from research and academia as they detail the cutting edge technology and innovative programs helping clean up our oceans.

Join colleagues Distinguished Professor Peter Ralph and Professor Martina Doblin from the Climate Change Cluster in the UTS Faculty of Science. Additionally, Amy Low, Brand and Marketing Director of Piping Hot Australia, who is well versed in the search for new eco-materials, will be exploring the latest developments with Kate Scardifield, Co-Director of the UTS Material Ecologies Design Lab. Leave both surprised and inspired.

This venue has reserved seating for wheelchair users. For more information about access services, to book access tickets, or for assistance with booking, please email [email protected]
