North Wollongong : Beach Clean-up

Sea Shepherd South Sydney Marine Debris Team is hosting a community clean-up at North beach – Wollongong.

Join our team in a fight against plastic pollution and let’s #StemTheTide together!

This is your chance to get involved and help us DEFEND, CONSERVE, and PROTECT our magnificent ocean.

Event details:
Date: 6th August 2023
Location: North Wollongong Beach, Wollongong, NSW
10.00 am Event starts with the safety briefing.
12.00 pm Event concludes.
Meet the Sea Shepherd crew at JP Galvon Park, Cliff Road, North Wollongong.

Sea Shepherd merchandise will be available at the event.
All our events are inclusive and family-friendly!

What to bring:
BYO gloves (compulsory to BYO and wear gloves during COVID)
Wear closed-in shoes
Be SunSmart
Reusable water bottle (no single-use plastic, please)

Bring along a face mask in case you feel the need to face cover during the event.
*If you are feeling unwell on the day or have tested positive for Covid in the five days prior to the event, please stay at home.
**Please note we have implemented several changes to our clean-ups to make them COVID Safe for all participants; however, due to the changing nature of Government restrictions, the above event details and schedule may change.
