About this event
Did you that we have Koalas in The Hills?
Come along and learn from citizen scientist Lily from Cattai Hills Environment Network about the koalas in The Hills, the community citizen science work she is doing to help collect data and research about our koala population and how you can help!
To help protect koalas we need the community to keep an eye out for sightings and report evidence so we can get a better idea of the koala population to protect and preserve them and their habitat! During this interactive workshop there will be a short presentation and live Q&A session with citizen scientists to ask about koala population, research work and how we can protect this iconic endangered species.
Location and Parking: The Community Environment Centre is located on Currie Avenue of Annangrove Road, Annangrove. The Centre is found at the rear of Annangrove Park in the car park.
What to Bring: Please bring along pen and paper if you wish to take notes.
Important Information: Workshops are only available to residents of The Hills Shire.
Please note we have limited numbers for this workshop. If you book a spot and can no longer attend, please cancel your booking with as much notice as possible so you are not taking up a spot for someone else. We have an active waitlist.
