About this event

Local birding guide Renée Ferster Levy will lead us through hidden pockets of the park, spotting birds, observing their behaviour and understanding their habitat needs.

  • Nesting behaviours of our local birds
  • Role of birds in pollination
  • Importance of habitat to provide shelter for small birds such as New Holland Honeyeaters and Superb Fairy-wrens.
  • Why Nielsen Park is an important rest stop for small migratory birds.
