About this event

GOOF (Grow Our Own Food) is a 5-week programme which teaches you how to live sustainably and grow your own food. Apply what you learn to balconies, backyards, community gardens or local schools.

These interactive workshops are a mix of theory and practical with lots of resources. Using the Ethics and Principles of Permaculture, GOOF will show you how to design, set up and run your own sustainable garden, with an emphasis on water management, flood mitigation and changing climatic conditions.

Residents from the Penrith and Hawkesbury areas who have been affected by floods are eligible to
attend.
