About this event

Annangrove Park is unique in that it contains a number of different vegetation communities including the Critically Endangered Ecological Communities; Sydney Turpentine Ironbark Forest and Shale Sandstone Transition Forest.

There are also a number of threatened plant species found within this reserve and an uncommon and very interesting hanging swamp.

Bushcare volunteers take on the vital role as protector of our fragile bushland environment, preserving natural flora and fauna and removing that which can be harmful to its future. For any bushcare volunteer it’s definitely a hands-on role.
