About this event

You don’t need a large garden to grow your own fresh herbs and veggies. Small spaces such as balconies can be a great opportunity to grow a small garden and are ideal for growing herbs, vegetables and even dwarf fruit trees.

Join our horticulturalist and permaculturalist James, as he shares his expert tips on how to create a thriving balcony garden and reduce food waste.

Whether you’re an experienced or a beginner gardener, this workshop will provide you with the knowledge and motivation to create a sustainable garden in your own balcony.

Please bring:

  • Sunscreen
  • enclosed shoes
  • reusable water bottle
  • hat for sun protection.

Free to Hornsby Shire residents, booking is essential.
