About this event

Bayside Council is hosting a bird watching event to celebrate the tenth year of the Aussie Bird Count, Australia’s largest annual citizen science event.

Come and join the local bird watching group The Rockdale Flock, for a morning of bird watching at Sir Joseph Banks Park, Botany, followed by a morning tea. You’ll get to learn about and see many local birds as well as make a valued contribution to the Aussie Bird Count.

We’ll have a couple of spare sets of binoculars on hand but if you have your own, bring them along and if you would like to record your sightings for the Aussie Bird Count, download the app from your app store.
