About this event
We’re learning how to build a bee hotel under the guidance of Adrian O’Hara from Cumberland Plain Regeneration.
After we build our bee hotels, we’ll be doing a weeding activity to help improve habitat for our native bees.
We’re celebrating Pollinator Week so join us and have an un-BEE-lievable time!
Bees play a vital role in our environment as they pollinate our plants — including the ones we eat — and help them survive. This is a great opportunity to learn more about bees and other pollinators that call Penrith’s bushland home.
Refreshments, bee hotel materials and weeding activity equipment all provided.
