Bella Vista Farm Open Day

What are you doing on Sunday? Interested in having a look around Bella Vista Farm?

The historic homestead will be open for tours. Our volunteers from the Friends of Bella Vista farm are available to chat and answer any questions about the Farm and its history.

There’s plenty to do at the Farm. Relax in the gardens and say hello to the Farm’s resident sheep. Visit the Trash & Treasure stall and watch a spinning demonstration.

You can also explore the heritage farm buildings and enjoy a Devonshire Tea or bring a picnic, whilst you listen to music by chamber groups from the Hills Shire Symphony Orchestra.

Sunday 5 November 2023 – Environmental Fair
From 9am – 2pm

Your planet needs you! You and your families are invited to participate in the Environmental Fair where you can engage in environmental activities, talks and demonstrations, and learn about the lifestyle of the early settlers on Bella Vista Farm.

Stalls include:

• Composting and Recycling
• How to grow your own food
• Bushcare and Bushwalking
• Living Sustainably
• Energy-saving ideas
• Understanding climate Change
• Children’s activities
• Return and Earn

Bring your picnic blanket and take a tour of the historic house. Enjoy some devonshire tea or a sausage sizzle, pat the sheep, and relax to the Hills Shire Orchestra. It’ll be a great day for all!
