About this event

Join us for a fun-filled day exploring the wild things that live in our urban parks.

Discover the diversity of birds that call our area home and observe them in their natural habitat. Through a guided bird-watching session you’ll learn about their interesting behaviours and unique characteristics. You’ll also have the opportunity to search for some of our smallest creatures and learn about the important role they play in our ecosystems.

As part of this adventure we will hold a mini BioBlitz to help document our amazing fauna and flora. A BioBlitz is an event that focuses on finding and identifying as many species as possible in a specific area over a short period of time. You don’t need to be an expert, just snap a photo.

So mark your calendars and join us for a family-friendly day of exploration and adventure.

Note: Children under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian present for the duration of the event.
