About this event

Blair Athol Bushcare works at John Kidd reserve – an area of remnant critically endangered Cumberland Plain Woodland notable for its populations of butterflies and parrots.

Our bushcare work here mainly focuses on enhancing the condition of the Cumberland Plain Woodland through activities such as weed management, tree planting, erosion control, litter removal and of course wildlife spotting.

Our bushcare group meets on the first Saturday of each month and as a Bushcare volunteer, you will do your bit for the environment while rubbing shoulders with interesting and like-minded people.

No experience is necessary to attend this event. We will provide you with all the training you need.

Please wear a long sleeve shirt, long pants, enclosed shoes and a hat. Also bring along a water bottle for you to drink.
