About this event

If you have a passion for the outdoors and would you like to know more about our local waterways, birds, insects, plants and wildlife, come along and join our Bradbury Bushcare volunteer group. You will also pick up some new skills along the way.

The Bradbury Bushcare group works on the first Sunday of the month across Fishers Ghost Creek, focusing on removal of invasive weeds, in areas of endangered Cumberland Plain Woodland Community (a riparian zone).

As a Bushcare volunteer, you will do your part for the environment while rubbing shoulders with interesting and like-minded people.

Bushcare groups participate in activities such as tree planting, erosion control, litter removal, weed management and of course, wildlife spotting.

No experience is necessary to attend these events, as we will provide you with all the training you need.
