Bush School

Bush School is a nature play program for children 0-5 years and their families held at a dedicated Bush School area at Central Gardens Nature Reserve in Merrylands West.

At Bush School we look at environmental sustainability, exploring nature, Aboriginal values towards the land and how we can care for our own environment around us whether that’s at home, at the park or at day-care or preschool.

Each session looks at different themed activities where children can explore the Bush School space, make things out of natural materials, participate in craft activities that they can take home with them and a reflection/Storytime.

Everyone is welcome at Bush School!

Please note some activities are more suited to the 2-5 year age range. Best access is through the Paton Street entrance. You only need to book 1 ticket per family.
