About this event
Discover a peaceful ribbon of Sydney Sandstone Gully Forest tucked right between Carlingford and North Rocks!
The Camcor Bushcare Group works along Hunts Creek to manage weed invasion and restore continuous habitat corridors linking towards Lake Parramatta Reserve.
As a volunteer, you will contribute directly to freeing native eucalyptus trees and delicate understorey shrubs from choking weeds, helping native birdlife and wildlife thrive.
Working alongside friendly local residents, you’ll gain hands-on bush regeneration experience while enjoying the natural tranquil sounds of Hunts Creek.
It’s an ideal outdoor volunteering opportunity for anyone looking to make a direct local impact and spend a rewarding morning in nature.
Grab a hat and come lend a helping hand to protect our urban waterways!
