Camden Town Farm Bushcare Launch

Camden Council would like to invite people of all ages to our newest Bush care Group Launch at the picturesque Town farm in Camden.

The launch will be conducted amongst bushland along the Nepean River, parking location on the southwestern side of the Macquarie Grove Bridge. This unique area incorporates a variety of ecosystems which have been impacted by historical land uses, and exotic plant incursion. Despite degradation the bushland still holds vital habitat for over 50 bird species, mammals, reptiles and aquatic creatures. As part of the launch Camden Council will be hosting a walk and talk with a special guest environmental educator.

The Council Natural Areas team will provide information on the current projects, and also be conducting volunteer weed control works for those who are willing to get their hands dirty.
