Get ready for the grand finale of Canopy Fest: “Life Happens in the Trees: Perspectives on Urban Canopy”.

Featuring engaging presentations and dialogue with cartoonist and advocate Jess Harwood, Future Village director Ben Parry, and Sutherland Shire Council’s Greenweb Officer, this session will be facilitated by Ecological Data Scientist, Dr. Eliza Middleton.

In their discussions, they’ll share their captivating personal and professional journeys with trees, including insights into the innovative local Greenweb program and how our community can protect, nurture, and expand Sutherland Shire’s urban canopy.

This session is your chance to envision a greener, more vibrant future for our community! Get inspired, soak up knowledge, and connect with experts who are making a real difference for our environment. Don’t miss out on the opportunity to be part of the change.

Registration

  • This session is designed for anyone aged 14 and older.
  • The maximum capacity for this session is 60 participants.
  • Registration is mandatory for all participants.
  • Each person can book a maximum of 4 tickets.
  • You do not need to print your ticket. Once you register, your name will be checked off the attendance list at the venue.
  • Please arrive 15 minutes early for check-in.

Location and Time

The talk will take place in the Theatrette at the new Kirrawee Library+. Please arrive 15 minutes early for check-in, as the workshop will start promptly at 4:30 PM.

Find the new Kirrawee Library+ at 6 Kiln Road, Kirrawee, within the South Village Shopping Centre. You can access the South Village Shopping Centre by car, train, or bicycle.
