About this event
As part of the exhibition Care is a relationship at UNSW Library, artist and researchers Dr Chloe Watfern and Priya Vaughan will be holding a workshop exploring care in the climate crisis.
Come along and create a collage representing your thoughts and feelings about climate change, and about how we might care for ourselves and the planet in the face of climate uncertainty.
All materials will be provided, however please bring along any images you’d like to use in your collage. No previous experience required, everyone is welcome.
Workshop is free (registration required), and morning tea will be provided. If you require any adjustments to participate in this workshop, please contact [email protected].
Location: UNSW Main Library, Seminar Room 506 (off the Level 5 Exhibitions Space)
Care is a relationship is an exhibition that draws on research projects led by the Arts-based Knowledge Translation Lab at Black Dog Institutethe Knowledge Translation Strategic Platform of Maridulu Budyari Gumal SPHERE, and UNSW’s 3C (Career Coaching for Carers) program. Each explores different aspects of care, and the social, emotional and environmental relationships at the heart of health and wellbeing. Part exhibition, part interactive makerspace, the project invites audiences to learn about and share experiences – from caring for a loved one with dementia, caring for our own and others mental health, to caring for the environment in the face of climate collapse.
