Welcome to the Coastal Whale Walk!
Join us for a leisurely stroll along the beautiful coast as we search for majestic whales swimming in the ocean. A great opportunity to connect with nature and new people in this friendly community walk.
09.00 – 10.00
Walk to Cape Banks
Approximate timing to Cape Banks depending on group speed.
10.00 – 10.30
Whale spotting
We are most likely to see whales from the Cape. I’ve seen some of the adults swim right up to the rocks here and due to its position out from the land it’s better for seeing whales further out.
10.30 – 11.00
Walk to finish point
We return to the start point via Cape Banks road and Jennifer Street boardwalk
