About this event
Be part of creating a vital green corridor for wildlife for National Tree Day.
Join us at Harold Park to plant 750 native grasses, herbs and wildflowers and help strengthen the habitat link along Johnstons Creek.
By planting species that support pollinators such as bees and butterflies, you’ll help improve biodiversity and create safe pathways for wildlife to move through the city.
Highlights
– Support pollination and local ecosystems
– Learn how native plants benefit urban wildlife
– Enjoy a rewarding, outdoor community experience
What to bring
– Enclosed shoes and sun protection
– Water bottle and gloves (if available)
Children are welcome – just keep a close eye on them so everyone can enjoy the day safely. If extreme weather rolls in, we’ll keep you posted about any changes or cancellations.
Free but registration essential, register online with Planet Ark. Or come along and register on the day.
