Edgeworth David Community Garden Tour

Join us for a tour of the Edgeworth David Community Garden and learn about the benefits of this fantastic community garden.

This local community garden showcases a variety of gardening practices, including:

• Composting and worm farms
• Vegetable gardens and wicking beds
• Fruit trees and rainwater harvesting
• Solar-powered rainwater pumps and tanks
• Solar panels on the shed roof
• A propagation shed built by volunteers using recycled materials
• Compost bays and edging made from soft plastics
• Stingless beehives.

The community garden is a great example of how we can implement these gardening practices in our own homes, small spaces, or balconies.

Please bring: Sunscreen, enclosed shoes, reusable water bottle and a hat for sun protection.

Dress code: long pants, long-sleeved shirts and enclosed shoes.
