Join Paul Gadsby for a Eucalypt workshop to be followed by a guided walk around Balls Head Reserve with the Bushland Team to celebrate Eucalypt Day.
Paul will provide an overview of the Eucalyptus genus with more than 700 species in the family Myrtaceae, followed by a hands on look at plant samples for participants to learn how to distinguish between local species.
North Sydney Council Bushcare Volunteers can attend free of charge, there will be a subsidised fee of $20 for community members to be paid directly to the facilitator (Paul).
Participants will take home a small tackle box to curate a Eucalypt capsule collection.
Bring drinking water, wear enclosed shoes and sun protection.
