Exhibition: Our Feathered Neighbours

Ravil Abdryashitov is a dedicated wildlife photographer who lives near Bicentennial Park—the setting for many of the striking images featured in this exhibition. With a passion for photography spanning over half a century, Ravil’s journey began in a school photo studio and has evolved into a lifelong pursuit of capturing the natural world.

Ravil does not use Photoshop on his photos, as he believes that any editing of a photograph distorts reality. His photographs are the result of observation, patience, and, of course, luck!

Ravil hopes to share the joy and wonder of wildlife through his work. He has entered many photography competitions, including Photographer of the Year 2023, Birdlife Australia Photo Competition, Nature Photo Competition, and the Royal Easter Show Photo Competition. He has had success being shortlisted, winning awards, and selling his photographs.
