About this event
Join Muru Mittigar and our Dharug Traditional Owners/ Aboriginal Knowledge Holders for an engaging workshop where kids will learn about First Nations Traditions, the purpose and practice of a Yarning Circle, and how to create an Indigenous Edible Garden.
Through storytelling and hands-on activities, children will discover the cultural significance and traditional uses of native plants.
Join us at our beautiful Discovery Centre at Highforest by Mirvac. There is plenty of free parking available and the Cumberland State Forest is located right next door for a picnic or wander afterwards, so make a morning of it!
Pay it Forward
Our school holiday program is FREE to attend, but if you’re able, we welcome donations from the Kids with Cancer Foundation hospital-approved list. These items will be delivered to the Kids with Cancer Foundation and included in Care Packs 4 Kids, bringing moments of joy to children undergoing cancer treatment in hospital.
