Grasses of North Sydney

Identify exotic and local native grass species with the Bushland team.

This workshop caters for Bushcare volunteers wishing to improve their plant identification skills.

We will use the field guide ‘Grasses of Coastal NSW’ by Harry and Carole Rose to identify a variety of local exotic and native grass species.

There will be an overview of the plant identification key using an overhead followed by a practical exercise and short field trip.

Bring a bottle of drinking water.

Please wear enclosed shoes and sun protection.
