About this event

Get started growing organic fruit in your backyard. Discover which fruits thrive in our climate, learn how to grow fruit in containers and explore organic pest management strategies.

Includes a hands on session propagating berries.

There are two workshops available:

  • Saturday 1 June 10am to 11:30am
  • Saturday 1 June 1pm to 2:30pm

What you’ll learn:

  • Introduction to fruit trees, vines and berries suited to small spaces
  • Seasonal guide to growing fruit in Sydney
  • Strategies for organic pest control

What you’ll get:

  • Small group size and experienced facilitator
  • Take-home notes
  • Six plants to take home including berries and companion plants
