Hassall Park Bioblitz

Come and see what you can discover at our community BioBlitz! From colourful fungi and tiny insects to native orchids, birds and towering trees, there’s a whole world of biodiversity waiting to be found in the bushland at Hassell Park. While this park is known for its Duffys Forest threatened ecological community, we know surprisingly little about the plants, animals and fungi that live here. Every observation you record helps fill those knowledge gaps, creating valuable citizen science data that supports future conservation and management. You don’t need to be a nature expert to take part – just bring your curiosity! Local experts will be there to help identify your discoveries and answer your questions along the way.
