About this event

What to expect

A practical course for environmental volunteers who have recently joined a group or those looking to brush up on their knowledge.

You will learn:

  • Bush regeneration principles.
  • Site impacts and the importance of habitat.
  • Basic plant identification (weeds and natives).
  • Overview of weed treatment and disposal techniques.
  • How to stay safe in the bush.

What to bring

Notepad & pen, keep cup (morning tea will be provided). Please wear closed shoes and sun protection.

Where to meet

The workshop on 18 August will be held at Dampier’s Clearing.
